Membership:

As you become a Certified Member, you will be joining many other like-minded people who are working seriously towards a better environment. You will be authorized to display the My Florida Green Council Seal and Certificate. You will make the statement that you are “Environmentally Responsible.” Your patrons will see that you care about the environment, their community and them.

As a member, you will also enjoy our “Friends of Green” site and newsletter that will give you all kinds of green information to help you along the way. You can link to “Friends of Green” and then into the newsletter. This site will be one of the most complete places of “green” information available. You will find other “green” agencies, products, vendors, helpful hints, and much MUCH more.

• FIRST—Complete the application
• SECOND—Complete the SURVEY
• THIRD—Complete and accept the Agreement
• FOURTH—Indicate the Method of Payment
• FIFTH—Submit these three documents

Your Welcome Package will be sent to you in the mail within 21 days. Once your membership in completed, go to the “Friends of Green” link and begin exploring the WORLD OF GREEN. You may access this site by clicking on the tab above. There you will find the Friend of Green Newsletter and lots of news and information.

At the end of the first year, you will be expected to have made enough progress to reach a higher level while sustaining your original level of certification. We are available to help educate you on methods and products to accomplish your certification goals.

If you desire to support the efforts of My Florida Green Council and wish to make a donation of $75 or more, you will receive a membership card, and enjoy the “Friends of Green” Site.

Along with your Membership Card, you will be given recognition as a financial supporter and a “green” partner in our continuing effort to improve the quality of life in Florida

As a result of membership, in the near future we are planning to offer special pricing discounts on green products, hold training seminars to educate on various aspects of “Greening”, and be available for company functions to educate employees both at work and at home.
